ESPN host Stephen A. Smith made headlines recently for his comments during an appearance on the Real Time with Bill Maher show where he lamented his vote for former Vice President Kamala Harris and pointed out that President Donald J. Trump looks more normal to him these days than the Democratic Party, which is more concerned with transgender rights than with matters viewed as essential to most voters.

This comes on the heels of similar remarks Smith made when he appeared on Mark Levin about his regrets for having voted Democrat in November.

When someone with Smith’s social media presence and cultural influence is honest enough to tell the world that the Democratic Party has duped him, it’s only a matter of time before others wake up and follow. And thank goodness because this political shift is long overdue.

Democratic Party leaders are masterful message fraudsters, but Democratic voters are finally coming to see the party’s true colors. What Democrats say and what they do are two different things. And while there are multiple examples of Democratic Party hypocrisy, the transgender agenda tops the heap, as Smith pointed out.

Just look at how all but two congressional Democrats in the House of Representatives recently voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which bans biologically born males from competing against female athletes. In spite of Democrats saying they are for women’s “rights,” this vote blows up the claim that they are pro-woman. Democratic leadership nevertheless seems convinced that they can stay the course and use word-smithing tactics to pull the wool over the American people’s eyes.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries leads the pack in this effort.

In a bizarre post on Blue Sky, Jeffries asserted that the bill would “unleash horrific child predators on girls and young women throughout America.” When asked by media for clarification to back up his contention, Jeffries offered no explanation. Riley Gaines, a leading and heroic advocate for female athletes, had his number: “‘[W]eird fear mongering’ is what Democrats do best,” she said.

Perhaps an even better way to put it is that Democrats lie. They have to lie. They know they cannot sell their radical cultural agenda at face value to the American people. So they are compelled to cloak their image and actions in ways that hide their radical secular agenda.

Their dishonesty and masquerading behind a façade, however, requires constant rebranding.

In an attempt to give the Democrats a marketing “face-lift” and help them regain the votes of American men who voted for President Donald J. Trump, Jeffries recently joined a congressional Democrat-led group, called the “Dads Caucus.” But once again, Democratic rhetoric does not align with reality. Any so-called Dads Caucus that does not reject the transgender agenda, is a complete joke. Normal fathers will certainly not stand by and see their daughters get physically throttled by biological boys in sports contests.  

Furthermore, Democratic leadership cannot whitewash their radical leftist record simply by fabricating a so-called “family friendly” caucus, which is family friendly in name only.

Democrats went so far to push their transgender agenda through during the Biden administration that they took hostage the federal school lunch program. Schools were told that federal funding to feed hungry school children would be linked to the condition that schools agreed to implement the Democratic transgender agenda—forcing girls to compete against boys in sports while sharing the same bathrooms.

Vice President JD Vance spoke out against this enormity on the campaign trail stating that “…it is such a terrible thing to take food out of the mouths of poor children because they don’t do what the Biden-Harris administration wants them to do.”

And yet, in a 10-minute speech to the new 119^th Congress following Republican Mike Johnson’s reelection to be House Speaker, Jeffries brazenly insisted that one of the Democrats’ priorities is to defend “nutritional assistance for children”—conveniently leaving out how he and his fellow congressional Democrats stood by as the Biden administration took away that assistance in order to mandate social acceptance of the transgender lifestyle.  

But this is how Democrats roll. Democrats like Jeffries advocate for welfare programs so that they can hold their constituencies hostage and implement a hidden secular agenda for socially reengineering American culture. This goes all the way back, if not further, to Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society—the so-called “unconditional war on poverty” —which incentivized women to have children out of wedlock.

Not only did poverty and crime increase in American cities, but the black nuclear family in particular is worse off as a result.

So while Democrats may keep feigning concern for Americans and their financial woes and struggles, the gig is up. Their transgender agenda went too far and exposed the way that Democrats are, and always have been, nothing but con artists.
