The breathtaking arrogance of the legal campaign to destroy Donald Trump captures the essence of what progressives call “Our Democracy™.” The elitist hypocrisy of this slogan—now almost a mantra repeated with quasi-religious fervor—is laid bare by the blatantly undemocratic means the presumptuous characters who defend it find expedient. In this way, the attention-seeking liberal judge from Maine, who unilaterally decided voters in her state cannot even see Trump on their ballots, did a great discredit to her cause by making plain its real object.
The pretext for punishing Trump, of course, is that he committed some grave offense against Our Democracy™ by disrupting the “peaceful transfer of power” on Jan. 6, 2021. Setting aside the fact that Trump has been convicted of no crime, or even charged with one by the extraordinarily aggressive Jack Smith, how does what happened on Jan. 6 come close to being as damaging to American democracy as the actions of President Joe Biden have been since his inauguration?
Under Biden, the American people are being deliberately replaced by the actions of their own government. Millions and millions of illegal immigrants have poured across our borders in a massive hostile invasion that Biden has abetted. Biden’s negligence is becoming a constitutional crisis. Because of his refusal to enforce our immigration laws, the state of Texas has moved to take over those federal prerogatives. Biden has threatened to sue the state in return.
This is an attack on democracy orders of magnitude greater than anything that happened on Jan. 6, even if the fever dreams of the left when describing it are taken seriously. But because we live in Our Democracy™, which differs entirely from the democratic republic established by our founders in our Constitution, we need to understand what the elite mean when they prattle on about it.
Our Democracy™ is not actually ours but is the inheritance of the teeming hordes Biden has invited in. It has nothing to do with the country of our forefathers, and while the regime is happy to allow legacy Americans to assume it gets its authority from the Constitution, it has nothing to do with that, either. What Biden and his allies demand is not loyalty to America or its Constitution, but idolatrous worship of a corrupt, criminal regime—one hostile to the country’s actual principles. It is a regime that is rightly regarded with hatred and contempt by millions of “citizens” who now live more like subjects and with less dignity than Russian serfs.
Even if Biden were to “win” the 2024 election without any heavy-handed lawfare, he cannot meaningfully or legitimately be said to represent the popular will of the American people. Generations of unsolicited, clandestine demographic engineering have totally remade the character of the electorate, and in many cases, without our consent. Without this rapid and aggressive change through left-wing bureaucratic fiat, the current radical, anti-white government of Joe Biden, would have been unthinkable.
The increasingly tyrannical character of the American regime exposes the danger of a government based purely on headcount. While Our Democracy™ is in many ways an oligarchic sham, it is also too inclusive, as it strives to elevate those who demand the regime’s constant diligence on their behalf while cutting off the legs of the productive classes and expropriating their wealth. The fate of the country is now in the hands of millions of illiterate foreigners with little vested interest in the preservation of the country beyond their next welfare check. Such a system may be nominally democratic, but it is obviously fraudulent.
The falsity of the political order reeks from Biden, a malodorous, criminal windbag, whose presidency has been one long harangue. Biden’s browbeating at Valley Forge over the weekend, where he once again commemorated the solemn anniversary of Jan. 6 by linking his treacherous regime with the legacy of the founders and their heroic struggle for liberty, is the kind of audacity that cries out for heavenly rebuke.
Biden presumes to lay claim to a country and a history that he is erasing. He does this, armed with the bogus, pseudo-theological authority of the replacement population he is pleased to anoint “the people.” The country is steadily brought to their level, with the progressive sages leading the way out from the deserts of whiteness into the promised land of “diversity” and “equity.”
Standing in the way of this colossal sham is Trump, who dares to imagine that greatness is still possible. That is his original sin, the real reason he has been indicted four times and kicked off the ballot wherever possible. There is no contradiction, here, for those who believe Trump threatens the rapturous fulfillment of America’s “democratic” destiny.
Trump has exposed the wickedness and hypocrisy of the age; those implicated by him, by his very existence, are fighting for their survival. The sham lies naked, in the open, and the action is building toward something big.
