Using the Supreme Court as a means to change laws is a tool elites can use to implement their will regardless of how popular it is. For the most part, people go along with whatever the Supreme Court decides. It is one way politics precedes culture.

What I see is that the SCOTUS decided the case on what it considered was an improper ruling due to a faulty legal basis. It rejected the concept that because the law allowing abortion on demand was popular it should be upheld.

So rather than ruling that most abortions were illegal, they sent the decision on abortion back to the States where it belonged.

When the Left and the Democrats speak of DEMOCRACY, they’ve a specific intent. It’s the abolition of a Republic based on an exegetically interpreted Constitution. But the SCOTUS ruling is in line with the concept of an constitutional Republic.
