Donald Trump already is the presumptive Republican nominee for president and easily will win Tuesday’s California primary. Yet he has continued to campaign in the state, which has revealed the top issue of this campaign: Trump vs. tyranny. Every rally he has held in the Golden State has been met with protesters trying to shut it down. Stuffed with money from George Soros’ groups and brainwashed with far-left propaganda from their Stalinist professors, the screaming Bolsheviks are eager to send Trump, and his supporters, to a gulag for daring to oppose open borders and the interests of Americans over leftist ideology.

Reported CBS SF Bay Area from San Jose, “Protesters followed Trump supporters to their cars as they left the convention center. Around the corner and away from police protection on San Carlos Street, a mob mentality took over.

“A young man wearing a ‘Build The Wall’ T-shirt was assaulted by several young men. Fearing for the man’s safety, KPIX 5 reporter Len Ramirez yelled at him to get away.

“For several minutes, there was no police presence and protesters thumped Trump supporters’ cars in the parking garage as they tried to leave.”

This is the reality of the New America imposed on us in recent years not just by leftist Democrats, but by Chamber of Commerce Republicans eager boost profits by importing new workers at starvation wages. In San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the median price for apartments now runs almost $4,000 a month. I didn’t misplace a zero. A new, un-American society is being born, with the 1 percent ruling from the top, an oligarchy obsessed with gaining even more money; followed by a small middle class providing services such as chi-chi restaurants and Pilates classes; with a large underclass at the bottom washing the dishes, trimming lawns or going on welfare. The old “American Dream” of a large, prosperous middle class has perished with our First Amendment “right of the people peaceably to assemble.”

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo is a Democrat and big backer of Hillary Clinton. He has taken an oath of office to uphold not only the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment, but also the California Constitution, which guarantees, in Article I, Section  3(a), “The people have the right to instruct their representatives, petition government for redress of grievances, and assemble freely to consult for the common good.”

Yet Liccardo blatantly violated his oath in a statement that, while perfunctorily insisting “there is absolutely no place for violence,” laid the blame on “a sad statement about our political discourse that Mr. Trump has focused on stirring antagonism instead of offering real solutions to our nation’s challenges.” He also praised police for their efforts. Yet in that incredibly rich city, with gold practically growing on silicon trees, he should have paid for more protection for Trump’s supporters, if necessary bringing in more police from surrounding cities, sheriffs and state troopers.

This is the future that’s in store the other 49 states should Hillary win and begin a comprehensive assault on our rights. Remember how Hillary and Bill stole 900 FBI files back in 1993-4? And of course, she’s in deep chip dip over her abuse of email while Secretary of State. Oh, and Obama’s IRS unnecessarily audited Tea Party and other conservatives. Then there’s the Fast and Furious gun-running scam that led to the death U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and hundreds of Mexicans. And there’s the long-running suppression of conservative speakers and professors on Stalinist U.S. campuses.

After the Tuesday California primary, the attention of the protesters will turn to the GOP convention in Cleveland on July 18-21. I hope the city on the lake is ready and hands out to conventioneers adequate supplies of bulletproof vests, helmets and bandages.
