“Over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files,” President Trump said on July 16, in a speech legacy media outlets like ABC, CBS, and CNN declined to cover.

Newly released documents, Trump said, “would show that in mid-2018, China was working to influence the results of the U.S. midterm elections and later the results of the 2020 presidential election itself.” China attempted “to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden.”

It’s no wonder China preferred Biden, as the Delaware Democrat’s soft approach to China goes back decades. “Vice President Joe Biden will take the lead on the [Obama] administration’s next phase China policy,” noted Steve Clemons in a Jan. 2, 2012 Atlantic article headlined “Biden Gets China.” The Atlantic said that the Obama’s strategy of friendly engagement with China “with Biden at the top,” was “orchestrated” by Thomas Donilon, the Democrat insider who advised Biden in 1988. Donilon was also a Fanny Mae lobbyist and his selection as National Security Advisor was troubling to many, including even Robert Scheer of The Nation—a publication that serves as a sort of Dead Sea Scrolls to understanding the American left.

In a June 2013 speech to the Asia Society, Donilon said, “I disagree with the premise put forward by some historians and theorists that a rising power and an established power are somehow destined for conflict.” As Donilon saw it, “a deeper U.S.-China military-to-military dialogue is central to addressing many of the sources of insecurity and potential competition between us.” In 2019, presidential hopeful Joe Biden proclaimed that the Chinese Communists are “not bad folks,” and “not competition for us,” so Donilon’s influence on Biden’s attitude toward the Middle Kingdom was long and lasting.

Hunter Biden’s lucrative dealings with the PRC, which we are told always included a cut for “the big guy,” confirmed that China “got Biden.” He was clearly China’s man in 2020, with the COVID pandemic originating in China and facilitating a surge of mail ballots

On Biden’s watch, China ramped up internal repressions and became more aggressive—modernizing their military and creating island bases that put key American allies and interests at risk. In February 2023, a massive Chinese surveillance balloon entered U.S. airspace and was first spotted by a photographer in Montana. The Biden administration allowed this craft to fly across most of the continental United States, lingering over Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana and Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha. The latter base is the one in charge of the nation’s nuclear forces. China’s balloon also got a close look at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.

Gen. Mark Milley, on record that he would notify China in event of a U.S. attack, accepted the PRC’s explanation that their weather balloon had blown off course, gathered no intelligence, and did not transmit any intelligence back to China. Contrast the perspective of Dr. Marina Miron, a researcher in the War Studies Department at Kings College London.

“The balloon could be controlled by operators on the ground, who could raise or lower the craft to pick up different wind currents,” Miron told the BBC. “You would want to be able to make it linger over a spot to collect data. This is something you can do with a balloon which you cannot do with a satellite.” The PRC has millions of Chinese nationals on the ground in the United States and gained even more courtesy of the Biden’s open-border policy.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, as of April 24, 2024, 24,214 Chinese nationals were apprehended illegally crossing the border, which was a 50 percent increase from a year earlier and a more than 2,000 percent increase from 2021.

The PRC’s Juan Tang, supposedly a cancer researcher at UC Davis, was discovered in 2020  to be a member of the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The Biden Justice Department dropped the case against a number of Chinese spies apprehended by the FBI, so the election meddling should come as no surprise. Last year, the Senate Judiciary Committee investigated reports that China was issuing fake American driver’s licenses, which could be used in some states as voter identification.

This is what happens when the United States of America allows a Communist dictatorship to join the World Trade Organization and grants the regime most favored nation status. This is what happens when a president believes the leaders of a Communist regime are “not bad folks” and not even competition for the United States, which—we should remember—never allowed the Soviet Union to surveille America’s strategic airbases.

The USSR did, however, found and fund the Communist Party USA, which ran a ticket of Gus Hall and Angela Davis in 1980 and 1984. That ticket didn’t get far or achieve much for this strategic enemy of the United States. Perhaps that’s why China prefers to back a candidate in the Democratic Party, which doesn’t seem to mind if China surveils our strategic assets. With the addled Biden on the sidelines, China’s best prospect would be California Gov. Gavin Newsom. In 2020, Newsom gave the Chinese company Build Your Dreams (BYD) $1 billion to manufacture masks, which was a product the company did not even make at the time.

The coiffed governor Newsom, who in many ways is much like Biden, also ordered mail ballots sent to every registered voter in the state. No word on how many ballots went to the illegals registered to vote by the DMV when they got their driver’s license. No word on how many illegals voted in 2018, 2020, or in the 2021 recall for Newsom, which—amazingly—he carried by the exact percentage he had in his 2018 victory for governor. No word on the odds of such a thing happening.

Gov. Newsom called Trump’s July 16 speech “the ravings of a mad king,” but had nothing to say about the documents Trump revealed. At this writing, we’ve also heard nothing on the data from Joe Biden, who “got China” back in 2012.
