As the CIA recently revealed, former Director John Brennan wanted to include the Steele dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) of the 2016 election. By 2020, the dossier had been outed as Clinton campaign sleaze, but in his book Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, at Home and Abroad, released that year, Brennan repeatedly claims “Vladimir Putin personally ordered the influence campaign to boost Donald Trump’s election prospects.”
The Russia hoax bullhorns never explained how, exactly, Putin influenced the election. On the other hand, information now coming to light details how it was actually China that influenced the 2020 election, and how the Federal Bureau of Investigation looked the other way.
“The FBI blocked an investigation into allegations that the Chinese Communist Party manufactured fake driver’s licenses and shipped them to the U.S.,” Fox News reported, “in a scheme to influence the 2020 presidential election in favor of Joe Biden because it would ‘contradict’ then-FBI Director Christopher Wray’s congressional testimony.”
In September 2020, Wray testified that, “We have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it’s by mail or otherwise.” That kind of effort “would be a major challenge for an adversary,” according to Wray, who said the FBI remained “vigilant” about election threats.
News of the fake licenses first emerged in June, when FBI Director Kash Patel declassified a document revealing that in late August 2020, the Chinese government produced thousands of fraudulent United States driver’s licenses and secretly exported them to the United States. The fake licenses would help thousands of ineligible Chinese students and immigrants to vote for Joe Biden.
As Patel explained, the allegations “while substantiated, were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public.” The report was recalled on the instruction of Nikki Floris, the FBI’s Deputy Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, who served as the FBI’s “election security lead” for the 2020 presidential election. The recall took place on Sept. 25, 2020—one day after Wray told Congress the FBI had seen no coordinated voter fraud.
In August 2020, Floris and Bradley Benavides, section chief of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), briefed Senators Ron Johnson and Charles Grassley on the threat of “Russian disinformation.” Both Republicans, who were looking into Hunter Biden’s business dealings, regarded the briefing as improper and delivered after pressure from congressional Democrats.
Grassley is now calling for an investigation into the fake licenses and their role in 2020 voter fraud. While the probe proceeds, Wray’s FBI record deserves a second look.
In 2016, after the firing of James Comey, Wray denied that any “spying” on the Trump campaign had taken place. Wray declined to say how he would have handled the case of Hillary Clinton’s private email server and had “no reason” to doubt the intelligence that says the Russian government ordered an effort to harm Clinton and help Trump. In effect, the new FBI boss was already on board with the FBI’s handling of the investigations of Clinton and Trump (codenamed “Midyear Exam” and “Crossfire Hurricane,” respectively).
Wray transformed the FBI into Joe Biden’s secret police, sending a 25–member FBI SWAT team to the residence of pro-life activist Mark Houck. Parents protesting the indoctrination of their children were branded violent extremists and domestic terrorists. Under Wray, the FBI raided the residence of Donald Trump, with armed agents pawing through Melania Trump’s closets and staging fake photos. At the same time, Wray’s FBI paid no attention to the classified documents Joe Biden had strewn all over his garage and home.
In a Sept. 1, 2022 speech, backdropped in red, with U.S. Marines at the ready, Biden said those who want the nation to be great were a “threat” to American democracy, a charge the Delaware Democrat repeated nine times. Americans had never heard a speech quite like that, but CIA and FBI critic Angelo Codevilla would have understood the dynamic.
“Desire to wage war on ordinary Americans—to disadvantage them and even to kill them—had long been bubbling in the ruling class’s basements,” wrote Codevilla in 2019. Branding ordinary Americans as white supremacists, domestic terrorists, and violent extremists is a prelude to deadly violence against them.
In August 2023 in Utah, an FBI SWAT team shot dead Craig Robertson, a 75-year-old woodworker for threats to Biden he allegedly made online. Threats to the president are normally handled by the Secret Service, but this was an FBI operation.
Consider also the case of Department of Homeland Security whistleblower Philip Haney, author See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad. On Feb. 21, 2020, Haney was found dead from a gunshot wound in Amador County, California. The FBI launched no manhunt, named no possible suspects, and failed to speculate on a motive. The Amador County sheriff handed over Haney’s electronic devices and written materials to the FBI. The initial report of the forensic pathologist was death by homicide, but under sheriff Gary Redman, a graduate of the FBI Academy, that was changed to suicide. No word from Wray on the content of Haney’s materials in FBI possession.
Last July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, Thomas Matthew Crooks unleashed eight shots at Donald Trump, one wounding the candidate in the ear. Shortly after the assassination attempt, Wray told the House Judiciary Committee that, “With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.”
According to The New York Times, the FBI was trying to determine “whether an assassin’s bullet—or potential debris—grazed former President Donald J. Trump’s head, bloodying his ear.” No word whether any shrapnel was involved in the death of rally-goer Corey Comperatore, or “potential debris” in the wounds suffered by David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who were also in the crowd at Butler.
Whatever voter fraud was in the works for 2024 failed to carry the day, however, and Trump prevailed easily in November. Back in 2020, the fake license campaign was hardly China’s only effort to influence the vote.
Dr. Anthony Fauci saw to it that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was funded to conduct gain-of-function research, once banned in the United States because it makes viruses more lethal and transmissible. In early 2020, Centers for Disease Control official Dr. Nancy Messonnier announced the arrival of a “novel virus” out of Wuhan that would sweep across the nation. California Gov. Gavin Newsom promptly ordered mail-in ballots for every registered voter, which in California includes millions of illegal aliens registered to vote by the state DMV when they get their driver’s license.
That year, 69 percent of voters cast their ballot “nontraditionally,” the highest ever for a presidential election, with 43 percent of voters casting ballots by mail, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The mail-in ballots established by China’s fake driver’s licenses were part of that mix. The FBI knew about it but held off because it would contradict the testimony of Wray, who saw no coordinated election fraud of any kind. As Grassley and Patel investigate, there’s more to consider.
On Jan. 20, Joe Biden issued a pardon for Fauci but none for Messonnier or NIH boss Lawrence Tabak, who admitted funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Biden also failed to pardon James LeDuc, former director of Galveston National Laboratory (GNL), who worked with the WIV and signed deals with China to destroy files, materials, and equipment.
Christopher Wray showed no interest in those pandemic players, but did put Nikki Floris in charge of the Intelligence Division of the FBI’s Washington Field Office. That was the same office that called off the surveillance on Maj. Nidal Hasan, the “soldier of Allah” who murdered 13 Americans at Fort Hood in 2009, or 14 counting the unborn child of Pvt. Francheska Velez. FBI Director Patel should reveal who, exactly, made that call. In our democracy, the people have a right to know. Meanwhile, as CNN reports, “the FBI is investigating former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey for possible false statements to Congress following a referral from the current CIA Director John Ratcliffe, according to a person briefed on the matter.”
As Trump likes to say, we’ll have to see what happens. If none of the deep-state dons goes to prison, the people can expect more hoaxes, more lies, and more mysterious shootings with no motive, no suspects, and evidence kept secret.
